Meet the Team Principals
John Gargaro is the President of RAF Solutions.
After receiving a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from University, John went to active duty in the U.S. Army where he was promoted through the ranks to Captain and held increased leadership positions of responsibility, to include Company Commander and Deputy Logistics Officer with the U.S. Special Operations Command. After 9 years on active duty, John left the military to pursue his civilian career, where, in the next 20 years he held leadership positions in several companies.
He joined QVC, Inc. for several years as Receiving and Returned Goods Manager and Total Quality Management Facilitator, helping to manage a 7 day/24 hr, same day response, 400,000 SKU facility.

From QVC, Inc., he joined Exel, Inc. (later merged into DHL GmbH). For the next 17 years he held successive positions of responsibility ,with his final position as Director of Operations. During his career at DHL, he was responsible for operational excellence/execution, distribution, and account development for numerous customers across the U.S. and Canada. Clients included Kimberly Clark, Clorox, General Mills, WD40, 3M, P&G, Becton Dickinson, and Campbell’s Soup-Canada.
From DHL he became Vice-President of Diamed-Caribbean, Inc., a Manufacturer representative for BioRad (Switzerland) and DiaSorin (Italy) distributing Immunohaemotology and Infectious Disease reagents and equipment into Latin America and the Caribbean / CARICOM. He was responsible for the operational execution of the company, tactical and strategic planning, and development and implementation of company direction and vision with the Board’s leadership.
Throughout these years, John saw repeatedly the challenges and roadblocks for companies to access and establish a market in the U.S. By working with multinational companies, he experienced the challenges for smaller or newer companies to the U.S. market to gain entrance and operate without it costing well beyond their budget capabilities. He also realized there were limited options for these companies to find solutions outside of the larger, expensive organizations. In 2017 he made the decision to establish RAF Solutions to address these open needs.
